Premier League 2013-14 Predictions

The Premier League has just started, and I am going to give you guys my predictions for this season. I have a GREAT feeling that it's gonna be great. With new Spanish stars and more than 4 teams fighting to become the champions of the 13-14 season.

The League Table

This is what I think will be standings after the league is done.

1. Chelsea
2. Manchester City
3. Manchester United
4. Liverpool
5. Arsenal
6. Tottenham Hotspur
7. Everton
8. Newcastle United
9. Fulham
10. Aston Villa
11. Stoke City
12. Swansea City
13. Sunderland
14. Southampton
15. West Ham United
16. West Bromwich Albion
17. Cardiff City
18. Norwich City
19. Hull City
20. Crystal Palace

First of all, despite the managers' and the online sites' sayings that 6 teams could win this year, I am honestly saying that the title race is only going to be between Chelsea and Man City. These 2 teams do have the best players in their squad compared to all the others. I mean, Man United did not buy any single impacting player this summer (excluding Fellaini), and the same goes with Arsenal, but Arsenal managed to acquire one big signing, and that it ex-Real Madrid playmaker Ozil. Both Man United and Arsenal fans think they have what it takes to be champions this season, but they do not have players like Silva, Navas, Mata, and Hazard on the wings. Man United cannot just depend on Van Persie to save them. On the other hand, my bias Liverpool did sign around 4 players, this summer. However, I don't think any of them would help Liverpool that much, when Liverpool will most likely be carried by Suarez, Sturridge, Coutinho, and maybe even Gerrard if he is in top form. I think that Spurs will find itself fighting for Europa League qualification. Soldado is a great signing, but what their best player Bale left! Spurs will definitely be screwed! But they did manage do sign some new talents like Eriksen, Lamela, Paulinho etc.
Eto'o
Jesus Navas
Eriksen
Fighting for the Europa League play-offs spot should be Everton. They have done an amazing job last season acquiring the 6th place, and could do the same if their key players Baines and Mirallas do well.
Finally, the other 3 teams in the top 10 are Newcastle, Aston Villa, and Fulham. For some reason, Newcastle and Villa did not perform well last season, being almost relegated. But if they put on their best effort, I believe that Papiss Cisse and Benteke will start scoring lots. Fulham, on the other hand will depend on striking duo Berbatov and Bryan Ruiz. To be honest, two other teams that may make the top 10 would be Stoke and Swansea. Swansea is a team which plays similar to Barcelona, and with new signing Bony partnering with last season's surprising star Michu, Swansea does stand a chance against the big boys.
Bony
Finally, it's time for the relegation zone. You might be surprised, but I believe that NPower League's champions last season Cardiff would just be able to stay in the Premier League, beating off Norwich. Norwich did have a great season, beating off the usual mid-table teams like Stoke, Fulham, Sunderland etc. But to be honest, can you name a great player in Norwich? To finish off, I think most people will agree with me that Hull and Crystal Palace will be the first 2 teams to relegate.
